How Do I Add or Edit Clients?

Handoff keeps all your clients organized in the Contacts section. Here is how to add new clients and edit existing ones.


Add a New Client

  1. Tap Contacts in the main navigation.

  2. Tap the + button.

  3. Fill in the client details:

    • Name

    • Contact type (Homeowner, Builder, Property Manager, etc.)

    • Email

    • Phone

    • Address

    • Referral source (optional — Word of mouth, Google, etc.)

  4. Optionally toggle Also create new project to create a project for this client at the same time.

  5. Tap Create contact.

Edit an Existing Client

  1. Go to Contacts.

  2. Tap the client you want to edit.

  3. Tap Edit (or the pencil icon) on the client profile.

  4. Update any fields and save.

Add a Client While Creating a Proposal

You can also add or link a client directly from a proposal:

  1. Open a proposal and tap Preview & send.

  2. Tap the Client field and search for a contact or create a new one.
