Sending estimates to your client is easy with Handoff's proposal feature. Follow these steps to send your estimate:
Access the Estimate: Start on your estimate dashboard. Click on any estimate in draft status.
Convert to Proposal: At the top of the page, look for the estimate and proposal toggle. Click on "Proposal" at the top center of your screen to switch from the estimate to the proposal view.
View and Customize Proposal: On the proposal page, you can:
View the header containing your company and client information.
Add a client summary message.
Review the estimate, which includes the dollar values of your groups and an AI summary of those items.
Attach files, add terms and conditions, and use upcoming features such as signatures and invoices.
Adjust the layout of your estimate by clicking "Lump Sum" or using the settings toggle.
Preview and Send Proposal: Click the green "Preview and Send" button to see a final preview of the proposal as your client will see it.
Send Proposal: Click the green "Send Proposal" button. If you haven't specified a client yet, you will be prompted to do so. Choose whether to send the proposal by text message (SMS), email, or both.
When your client receives the proposal, they will get a professional-looking link to view your estimate from any device. Without needing to log in, they can see all the details you've allowed them to see and approve the estimate directly from the link.
