How to Send a Proposal
Open any estimate in your dashboard.
At the top of the screen, switch from the Estimate tab to the Proposal tab.
Customize the proposal:
Add a client summary message
Attach files, terms and conditions, signatures
Set up a payment schedule (optional)
Adjust the layout (Lump Sum vs. itemized)
Tap the Preview & send button to see a final preview as your client will see it.
Tap Send Proposal. If you haven't assigned a client yet, you'll be prompted to do so.
Choose delivery method: Text (SMS), Email, or both.
Your client receives a professional link they can open from any device — no login required. They can review all the details and approve directly from the link.
Proposal States
Draft — not yet sent to the client
Sent — delivered, waiting for client response
Approved — client has accepted
Canceled — proposal has been withdrawn
After Sending
From the proposal options menu (three dots), you can:
Edit — modify a sent proposal
Resend — re-deliver to the client
Share — copy the proposal link to send manually
Duplicate — create a copy
Export as PDF or CSV
Print
Archive or Delete
Converting to Other Formats
Once a proposal is sent or approved, use the Convert button to turn it into:
Invoice — bill the client for approved work
Change Order — document scope changes
