Your markup settings in Handoff live in Presets. This is where you configure default markup percentages that the AI applies automatically to new estimates.
How to Edit Your Markup
Go to Settings → Presets.
Scroll to the Markups section.
Tap a markup field and enter your desired percentage for each cost type:
Labor
Material
Other
Changes are saved automatically.
Markup on Individual Estimates
You can also adjust the markup on any individual estimate without changing your default settings:
Open the estimate.
Scroll to the bottom of the estimate table to the totals row.
Tap the markup row to edit the percentage applied to that estimate.
Changes to an individual estimate's markup do not affect your default Presets settings.
Using Catalogs for Pricing Control
For more granular pricing — including rate cards, supplier prices, and per-item markups — use Catalogs (Settings → Catalogs). Catalogs let you define specific costs and markup percentages for individual materials or labor types.
