Editing your markup in Handoff is straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:
Access the Markup: Scroll to the bottom of your estimate and click on the total row. This row includes the percent markup applied to your estimate.
Edit Markup on Devices:
On Mobile or Tablet: When you click on the total row, a pop-up will appear from the bottom of your screen, allowing you to change the percent markup.
On Computer: Click on the total row to directly edit the markup percentage.
Adjust the Percentage: The default markup is set at 20%. You can type in any percentage you prefer, such as 10%, 30%, or 40%.
Uniform Markup: The markup value is applied uniformly to all items in your estimate, whether they are material, labor, or anything else. Currently, Handoff supports only one markup percentage, and there are no separate markups for contingency, overhead, or different categories.
