Here’s a quick walkthrough of how to print any estimate or proposal
Accessing Your Estimate:
From the desktop dashboard, click into any of your estimates. You can start from the estimates homepage and find an estimate in the draft, sent, approved, etc., folders.
Click into the estimate you want to export.
Exporting to PDF:
Click the three dots in the top right corner of the estimate screen.
Select "Export as PDF" from the options (you will also see options to duplicate, export as CSV, or print).
Estimate vs. Proposal:
Estimate View: Exporting from the estimate view will include quantities, unit costs, and line item totals with your markup baked in.
Proposal View: To export the proposal, use the toggle at the top center of your screen to switch to the proposal view. Then, click the three dots in the top right corner and select "Export as PDF."
Viewing the Export:
Once you click "Export as PDF," the document will load in a new tab.
The estimate will show quantities, unit costs, and line item totals after markup.
Customization:
In the proposal view, you can customize the layout. For example, you can choose a lump sum view to hide group totals or a detailed view to show itemized details.
Any changes made to the proposal will reflect in the exported PDF.
Printing:
You can also print the estimate or proposal by selecting "Print" from the three-dot menu, which opens the document as a PDF and sends it to the printing screen.
These steps are applicable on both desktop and mobile devices.
Thanks!
