Handoff allows you to easily edit items in your estimates. You can either Edit with AI, or manually Edit items one by one.
Here are the main ways to make changes:
Manual Editing:
Click on any item to open the editing panel
Modify the title, quantity, or cost as needed
Changes are saved automatically
Adding New Items:
Click the "+" button at the top of a section
Enter details for the new item
The item will be added to the bottom of that section
Bulk Editing with AI:
This is our recommended way to edit your Estimates! It's way faster than manually clicking around.
Click the yellow "Edit estimate with AI" button
Describe the changes you want (e.g., "Change all labor rates to $110 per hour")
AI will update the estimate accordingly
Tips:
Use manual editing for quick changes to individual items
Use AI-powered editing for bulk changes or complex updates
You can combine manual and AI editing methods as needed
