If your client says they didn't receive the proposal, here are the steps to resolve it.
Step 1: Verify Handoff Is Sending Correctly
Create a test estimate and convert it to a proposal.
Add yourself as the client.
Send the proposal to your own email and phone number.
If you receive both, Handoff's system is working — the issue is likely on the client's end.
Step 2: Send the Proposal Link Directly
As a reliable fallback, share the proposal link manually:
Open the sent proposal.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Tap Share to copy the proposal link.
Paste the link into a text or email to your client.
Tips
Email is more reliable than text — texts can be blocked by spam filters.
Check the phone number and email address — make sure the client contact info in Handoff is correct before resending.
Resend from Handoff — tap the three-dot menu on the proposal and select Resend to re-deliver via the original method.
Call the client — once you've sent it, get them on the phone and have them look for it right away. Proposals often land in spam or promotions folders.
