Customize Your Settings in Handoff
Set up your account to match how your business works.
From uploading your logo to managing payment settings and AI presets, this guide walks you through how to personalize your Handoff workspace for your team and clients.
Update Your Company Logo
Your logo is a key part of your brand and appears on every proposal you send. You can upload or change your logo from either the Settings page or directly within a proposal.
Change Your Logo from Settings
Click the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.
At the top of the Settings page, you'll see your company name and current logo.
Click Edit Logo to open your file browser.
Choose your updated logo image from your device and upload it.
The new logo will automatically update across all existing and future proposals.
Verify the Logo Change
Open an estimate and switch to Proposal view using the toggle at the top.
Click Preview and Send in the top right corner.
Your logo will appear at the top of the proposal.
To export the proposal, click the three-dot menu > Export as PDF — your logo will display in the exported file as well.
Change Your Logo Within a Proposal
Open any estimate and toggle to the Proposal view.
Click in the header section or use the three-dot menu to edit company info.
Select Edit Logo to upload a new file.
Note: You cannot fully delete the logo once one has been added — only update it with a new image.
Update Your Business and Account Info
You can update key details like your business name, company email, phone number, and address—all of which will appear on your proposals and invoices. This can be done from the General Settings section in your Handoff account.
How to Access General Settings
Click the Settings icon (gear symbol) in the lower left corner of your screen.
On the Settings page, click into General settings at the top of the list.
What You Can Edit
Once inside the General Settings tab, you’ll see three editable sections:
1. Company Information
Displayed on all proposals and invoices:
Company Name
Email
Phone Number
Company Address
License (optional field for adding your contractor license)
2. Account Information
Used to log in to Handoff:
First and Last Name
Email
Phone Number
Changes here will update the personal login information associated with your user profile.
3. Global Files
Upload commonly used documents for reuse across projects. To upload a new file, click + Add Files in the upper right of this section.
Changes are saved automatically. Once updated, this information will reflect across your proposals and invoices moving forward.
