1. Open the Handoff Web App

  • On your Android device, open Google Chrome (recommended).

  • Log in with your credentials if prompted.

2. Access Browser Menu

  • Once the site is loaded, tap the three dots menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome.

3. Select “Add to Home screen”

  • Scroll down in the menu and tap “Add to Home screen.”

  • You may also see “Install app” depending on your version of Chrome.

4. Name the Shortcut

  • You’ll be prompted to edit the name.

  • Type “Handoff” or leave the default.

  • Tap Add.

5. Place on Home Screen

  • A shortcut icon will now appear on your Android home screen.

  • Tap Add Automatically (or drag to a desired location).

6. Use the Shortcut

  • Simply tap the Handoff icon on your home screen to open app.handoff.ai directly—just like an app.
