Assign Team Members to a Phase
Open your project and navigate to the Schedule tab.
Click the phase you want to assign.
Locate the Assignees field in the phase drawer.
Click or tap the field to open the selector.
Select one or more team members.
If the person is not listed, click Invite team member to add them.
Close the selector. Assignments are saved automatically.
Assign Team Members Using AI
Open the schedule chat.
Enter a command specifying who should be assigned and to which phase.
Example commands:
"Assign Mike to the Framing phase"
"Put the electrical crew on Rough MEP"
Review the confirmation message. The AI will update the schedule automatically.
The AI will update the schedule and confirm the assignments.
View Assignments
Gantt View
Assigned team members appear as avatar icons on each phase bar and in hover tooltips.
List View
The Assignee column displays assigned members.
Use the Edit columns option to show or hide this column.
Global Schedule Calendar
Filter by Assignee
Locate the assignee filter in the schedule header.
Click the filter control.
Select one or more team members.
View updates to show only relevant phases.
Additional Notes
Assignments apply at the phase level, not the entire schedule.
Multiple team members can be assigned to a single phase.
Invited users with limited access will automatically gain access to the project when assigned.
You must have Edit permission on the schedule to assign or modify assignees.
AI-generated schedules can include assignments if team members are specified during creation.
