Handoff integrates with ABC Supply so you can use ABC Supply product and pricing data while building estimates in Handoff.
When your ABC Supply account is connected, Handoff can match material line items in your estimate to ABC Supply products, use pricing from your selected ABC Supply branch, and help you move from estimate to material ordering with fewer manual steps.
What the ABC Supply integration does
The ABC Supply integration helps you:
Use ABC Supply product data while building estimates in Handoff
Pull account and branch-specific pricing into material line items
Select the ABC Supply ship-to account and branch you want Handoff to use
See which supplier and branch a material price came from
Reduce manual product lookup, price checking, and rework between estimating and ordering
For best results, connect the ABC Supply account and branch you normally use for purchasing materials.
Before you start
You will need:
An active Handoff account with ABC Supply enabled
An active ABC Supply account
Access to the ABC Supply account you want to connect
The ship-to account you want to use
The ABC Supply branch you want to use as your default branch
If you do not see ABC Supply in Handoff, contact Handoff Support and ask whether the ABC Supply integration is enabled for your account.
Connect your ABC Supply account
In Handoff, go to Settings > Catalogs.
Find ABC Supply and click on it.
Click Connect.
Follow the ABC Supply sign-in and authorization steps.
After you return to Handoff, select your ABC Supply ship-to account.
Select the ABC Supply branch you want Handoff to use for pricing.
Save your connection.
After the connection is saved, Handoff will show ABC Supply as connected.
Choose your ship-to account and branch
ABC Supply pricing depends on the account and branch you use. During setup, Handoff asks you to choose:
Ship-to account: The ABC Supply account/location relationship tied to your purchasing setup.
Default branch: The ABC Supply branch Handoff should use for material pricing.
Branch names may include the branch number, city, and state to help you choose the right location.
If you need to use a different branch later, go back to Settings > Integrations & API key and update your default branch.
Use ABC Supply pricing in an estimate
Once ABC Supply is connected:
Open or create an estimate in Handoff.
Add material line items manually, or use Handoff AI to generate the estimate.
Make sure ABC Supply is enabled as a supplier source for the estimate.
Handoff will match eligible material items to ABC Supply products.
Review the matched products, quantities, units, and costs before sending a proposal.
When ABC Supply pricing is available, Handoff uses pricing from the connected ABC Supply account and selected branch.
If Handoff cannot get a price for an item, you may see a message such as "Price unknown" or "Call for pricing." In that case, contact your ABC Supply branch to confirm price and availability before using that item in a final proposal or order.
Review material matches
Handoff uses AI to match your estimate line items to supplier catalog products. Always review the selected product before sending a proposal or ordering materials.
Check:
Product name and description
Quantity and unit of measure
Item number or SKU, when shown
Branch and supplier source
Price and availability, when shown
If a material match looks wrong, edit the line item or choose a different product before finalizing the estimate.
Best practices
Connect the ABC Supply account you actually use for purchasing.
Choose the branch you normally buy from.
Review material matches before sending proposals.
Confirm "Call for pricing" items directly with your ABC Supply branch.
Refresh or recheck pricing before sending high-value proposals or placing material orders.
Keep estimating changes in Handoff so your proposal and material list stay aligned.
Troubleshooting
I cannot connect my ABC Supply account
First, confirm you can sign in to your ABC Supply account outside of Handoff. If you can sign in there but still cannot connect in Handoff, contact Handoff Support.
I do not see the ship-to account or branch I expected
Your ABC Supply account may not have that ship-to account or branch available for the integration. Confirm the account setup with ABC Supply. If the account looks correct in ABC Supply but not in Handoff, contact Handoff Support.
Prices are missing or show "Call for pricing"
ABC Supply did not return a price for that item, account, or branch. Contact your ABC Supply branch to confirm current price and availability.
The wrong branch is being used
Update your default ABC Supply branch in Settings > Integrations & API keys > ABC Supply. After changing the branch, recheck your estimate material pricing.
A material item matched to the wrong product
Edit the line item or select a different product before sending the proposal. If the issue keeps happening, contact Handoff Support with the estimate name, material item, and expected ABC Supply product.
Matching stopped working
If ABC Supply matching was working before but suddenly stops returning matches or pricing, check your ABC Supply connection in Settings > Integrations & API keys > ABC Supply.
If the connection does not look right, reconnect ABC Supply, then ask Handoff AI to retry matching the estimate.
If ABC Supply still shows as connected but matching still does not work, contact Handoff Support in the app.

No. Handoff uses ABC Supply product and pricing data returned for your connected account and selected branch. Final pricing and availability are confirmed by ABC Supply.
Does Handoff use my selected branch for matching?
Yes. Handoff uses your selected ABC Supply branch so matched products and prices are tied to the branch you chose during setup.
Can I disconnect ABC Supply?
Yes. Go to Settings > Integrations & API keys > ABC Supply and disconnect the integration. New estimates will no longer use ABC Supply pricing unless you reconnect.
