To see what needs your attention today, select Daily brief in Handy (Handoff's AI assistant). To pick from ready-made business questions, select Insights.

Open the Daily brief
On desktop, select Home, then select Daily brief under the chat box. In the mobile app, select the Handy tab, then select Daily brief.
Wait for Handy to answer in the chat.
On iPhone, you can also add the Quick actions widget to your home screen and choose Daily brief. Selecting it opens Handy and runs the brief.
What the Daily brief covers
The Daily brief shows up to five items, ranked with the most urgent first. It can include:
A failed customer payment
An overdue invoice
A project with overdue unfinished work on its schedule
A payment milestone that is due or ready to bill
Approved work that has no matching invoice
A schedule phase close to its end date
An expense that needs review
A proposal still waiting for a response after 3 or more days
Each item says what happened and names the project or record. If little needs attention, the brief shows fewer items.
When the Daily brief runs
The Daily brief runs when you select it, using your current records. Handy does not send it by push notification, email, or text message, and there is no setting to schedule it.
Use Insights
On desktop, select Home, then select Insights. In the mobile app, select the Handy tab, then select Insights.
Select one of the six question cards.
Read Handy's answer in the chat.
The cards are:
Which invoices are overdue?
How profitable are my jobs?
Are any jobs over budget?
Which expenses need review?
Which milestones can I bill?
Which proposals need follow-up?
The small charts on the cards are illustrations. The answer uses your own records.
What you see on other plans
On plans other than Pro and Scale, Daily brief and Insights appear locked. On desktop, they are under More. In the mobile app, they sit at the end of the list with a lock.
Selecting either one opens an upgrade prompt asking you to upgrade to the Pro or Scale plan.
Handy still answers general questions about your business on every plan.
