How to Log In to Handoff

Overview

This article explains how to log in to your Handoff account from a computer or mobile device. It also covers how to verify your phone number or email and how to resolve common login issues.


Log In from a Computer

  1. Choose your login method: Phone or Email.

Log In with Phone

  1. Enter your US phone number.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Enter the 6 digit verification code sent to your phone.

  4. Click Verify.

Log In with Email

  1. Enter your email address.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Open your inbox.

  4. Click the Handoff login link to access your account.

Sign In with Google

  1. Click the Google icon below the Continue button.

  2. Follow the prompts to complete sign in.


Log In from a Mobile Device

Download the App

  1. Open the App Store on iPhone or Google Play Store on Android.

  2. Search for Handoff AI.

  3. Download and install the app.

  4. Tap Log In.

Choose a Login Method

  1. Select Phone or Email.

  2. Follow the same steps outlined above for verification.

Mobile Sign-In Options

iPhone

  • Sign in with Apple or Google using the icons below the Continue button.

  • Phone and Email login are also available.

Android

  • Use Phone or Email login.

  • Apple and Google sign in are not available.


Verify Your Phone Number

  1. Enter your phone number.

  2. Tap Continue.

  3. On the "Please verify your account" screen, enter the 6 digit code sent to your phone.

  4. Tap Verify.

If you do not receive the code:

  • Tap Resend next to "Did not receive the code?"

  • Check if your phone auto suggested the code above the keyboard.


Check Your Email for a Login Link

  1. Enter your email address.

  2. Tap Continue.

  3. On the "Check your inbox!" screen, open your email.

  4. Click the Handoff login link.

If you do not receive the email:

  • Tap Resend.

  • Tap Login with another email to start over.


Troubleshooting Login Issues

Invalid Phone Number Error

  • Handoff supports US phone numbers only.

  • Canadian and international numbers are not supported.

  • Confirm your number is entered correctly.

Not Receiving a Verification Code

  • Tap Resend to request a new code.

  • Check if your phone auto filled or suggested the code above the keyboard.

Code Expired

  • Verification codes expire after a short time.

  • Tap Resend to receive a new code.

Email Link Not Working or Expired

  • Login links expire after a short time.

  • Return to the login screen and request a new link.

Wrong Code or Persistent Errors

  • Tap Resend to generate a new code.

  • Try logging in again.

  • If issues continue, wait and try again later in case of a temporary outage.


Still Cannot Log In

  • Switch login methods. If Phone login fails, try Email, or vice versa.

  • Log in from a browser at app.handoff.ai/login.

  • Contact support using the chat icon in the app or visit help.handoff.ai.
