Step-by-Step Instructions

Add Photos and Videos on Mobile

  • Open a daily log entry from the Daily Logs tab, or create a new one.

  • Tap Camera to capture a new photo or video directly in the app.

  • Select photo, video, or walkthrough capture within the camera screen.

  • Tap Add photos to upload existing media from your device.

  • Review the attached files as thumbnails in the log entry.

  • Tap Done to save your changes.

Add Photos and Videos on Desktop

  • Open a daily log entry from the Daily Logs tab.

  • Click Add photos to select files from your computer.

  • Alternatively, drag and drop files into the upload area.

  • Confirm that uploaded files appear as thumbnails.

  • Click Done to save your changes.

Additional Notes

  • Only image and video files are supported. Other file types such as PDFs or documents cannot be uploaded.

  • A loading indicator appears during uploads. Wait for uploads to complete before closing the log.

  • Video files display with a play button overlay to distinguish them from images.

  • All team members with daily log access can view and upload media, regardless of general file permissions.

  • Once a daily log is shared, it cannot be edited. Add all attachments before sharing.

  • Photos captured during Walkthrough mode are automatically attached as files. They appear as attachments, not embedded in the log text.

  • When reopening a log, video files open in a video player instead of displaying as images.

Troubleshooting

  • Files not uploading

    • Ensure the file is an image or video format.

    • Check your internet connection.

    • Wait for the upload indicator to complete before exiting the log.

  • Cannot add attachments after sharing

    • Daily logs become locked after sharing. Create a new log or duplicate the existing one if updates are needed.
